Specially designed for harsh winter conditions

Thanks to its new Nordic compound based on rapeseed oil (canola) and the addition of silica, the replacement of the popular Winter Contact SI offers excellent grip and 5% reduced braking distance on wet, snowy and icy conditions.

The tread design has also been revised. It now offers multiple grooves with a unique design to reduce hydroplaning and the skidding risk on icy roads, snow-covered or slush-covered roads.

The interconnected blocks of the Viking Contact 7 have been reinforced to provide better handling and improved stability in all weather conditions.

Finally, Continental has increased the number of 3D blades on the tire, increasing traction and braking in the snow.
